Our Story

PowerField Energy was launched in 2017 by a team of energy experts with decades of experience across the spectrum of technology commercialization, product and project development, international development, manufacturing, sales and finance. Their resumes include leadership positions at AES, AES Solar, SunEdison, Battelle, the US Department of Energy, and multiple technology driven startups.

With a keen interest in making solar energy more affordable and accessible for the world, their focus was, and continues to be, on driving out inefficiencies in solar project development and installation processes – both hard and “soft” costs.

After countless designs, prototypes, trials and failures, a game-changingly simple solution was born and patented called the PowerRack. This simple solution is the platform for revolutionizing solar energy at any and every scale – residential, community, commercial, industrial, and utility.
